• Fund Objective

To achieve capital growth over the medium to long-term period by investing in a portfolio of equities and equity-related securities of companies that are engaged in or are substantially related to the natural resources sectors in the domestic and overseas markets.

Initial Offer Period: 21 days from 30th June - 20th July 2009 at RM0.25 per unit.
Financial Year End: 30 November.
Distribution Policy: Distributions will be incidental, annually, if any.

Investor Profile
Suitable for investors who are:

• Aggressive risk-reward temperament,
• Medium to long-term investors,
• Can withstand extended periods of market highs and lows in pursuit of capital growth.

Strategy
PNREF will invest in a portfolio of equities and equity-related securities of companies that are engaged in or are substantially related to the natural resources sectors in the domestic and overseas markets. To achieve increased diversification, the Fund may invest in selected foreign markets which include Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and other markets.

The natural resources sectors will include energy (oil and gas exploration, extraction, production, transportation and power producers), metals and mining (industrial and precious metals exploration, extraction, production and transportation), agriculture, forestry and paper.

Asset Allocation:

• Equity exposures within a range of 75% to 90% against its NAV.
• May also invest in fixed income securities and money market instruments.
